Photite
About

Small stories, every morning.

Photite is a quiet place to read about games: fighting games, online worlds, shooters and AI in gaming. A small issue comes out each morning, Brisbane time, with a few short stories in each section.

We look to Oceania first. When there's a result from an Australian or OCE bracket, LAN or server, it goes at the top.

How we treat real people

Stories about real players, teams and events stick to things anyone can check, like results, brackets, dates and public announcements. Every one of those stories links its sources. We don't invent quotes, results or stories about real people, and if we can't verify something, we leave it out.

Every story on Photite is real news: factual, current and sourced.

Stories are written with AI tools.

The wave photo is Vague de Teahupoo (Tahiti), an empty barrel at Teahupo'o, Tahiti, by Olivier Dugornay (Ifremer), via Wikimedia Commons, licensed CC BY 4.0.
